This presentation is for those who want to sit back and relax, and learn about Woodmere's history. After a discussion of its history, some of Detroit's movers and shakers will be presented showing their contribution to Detroit's early beginnings. There is also a telling about some who did not make newspaper headlines but have interesting stories to be shared.

Do's and Don'ts of Cemetery Research

This presentation is for those who are doing genealogical research and who need some guidance as to how to request and receive information from cemeteries. Using actual letters received requesting information and told in a humorous way, researchers will be shown some what-to-dos and what-not-to-dos when writing to cemeteries.
