The owners of Woodmere Cemetery have been very gracious allowing me to put information from the cemetery records online. This has taken me over 7,000 hours. More time is required to cross-check the files to make sure information on the website is accurate as to what is found in the records. I have been volunteering at Woodmere Cemetery on Saturdays, travelling from my home in Novi, since November, 2003. I have taken some of the older section maps and added information to them to make it easier to locate graves for visitors. I also handle the genealogical research requests and give tours upon request.

I have published two books with Arcadia Publishing, Detroit’s Woodmere Cemetery and Michigan Memorial Park. The sales of those publications help keep this website available to you at no charge. I speak to various groups on how to conduct cemetery research and also conduct tours of Woodmere Cemetery. I am a recipient of The Federation of Genealogical Societies’ Award of Merit for 2009.
