Walking tours and a slideshow presentation, "A Tour of Woodmere Cemetery Without the Walking,"

are held each year at Woodmere Cemetery. A couple walking tours have been done at the request

of The Detroit Historical Society. Each tour includes a tour of the chapel building, which houses the

receiving vault and crematory, and runs approximately two hours. The slideshow presentation,

which includes the cemetery's history and notables buried there, is also given to genealogical

societies, church groups, and civil groups.
