Michigan Memorial Park is the pictorial history of this rural cemetery located
in Flat Rock, Michigan founded in 1926. This land, purchased by a former
University of Michigan All-American football hero, Willie Heston, was turned
into a burial ground and has stayed in the same family for four generations. A
beautifully maintained park, with extraordinary sculptures gracing the
landscape, it has notables such as major league baseball catcher Mike Tresh,
automobile manufacturer Preston Tucker, archer Ann Marston, industrialist
Heinz Prechter, and reported Sicilian feudist leader, Anthony Giannola.
